The Eschelons played 1950s and 1960s rock 'n' roll and doo-wop, often displaying three and four-part vocal harmonies reminiscence of the music of that period. Their first performance period was from 1959 - 1966. Forty years later, the original group reunited and performed again from 2005 - 2013. The Eschelons released three 45s in 1961/62. This is the first and only CD released by the 50s doo-wop group.
Designed for great looks and solid performance, the Echelon (#1880) features SpeedSafe® assisted opening and opens with a thumb stud that seems to float on air—hovering in the middle of an over-sized blade cutout. To add to the airy feeling, we used natural G-10 to create a semi-translucent handle that allows you to see the operation of the SpeedSafe® mechanism inside. The Echelon also features our Inset Liner Lock and new reversible deep-carry pocket clip for discreet pocket carry. Made in the USA. To build an Inset Liner Lock, Kershaw insets a strip of steel inside a knife’s handle—most commonly when the handle is G-10. In-setting the lock in this way enables us to create a slimmer knife, while still providing the strength and security of a locking liner.
